Albanian leader shot at by gunmen
Musliu said he ran into their ambush and was shot at after he refused their order to stop the car.“The robbers in black uniforms tried to stop me near the village of Brisić, first by waving flash lights and then by firing shots. When I realized their uniforms had no insignia on them, I decided not to obey, accelerated instead, and made it safely to Končulj,” Musliu described his ordeal.
He added that after he stopped in Končulj, he saw several vehicles arrive from the direction of Brisić with deflated tires, all victims of the gang.
“I knew the robber who got killed, Enver Dalipi, he’s from Končulj, but I can’t say if the attack was against me personally. There is no doubt that robbery was the motive, but I do not know who is behind them,” Musliu said.
