Police in Niš claim that no shots were fired by officers in the death of 19-year-old Nikola Albijanić.

Niš police: No shots fired in death of suspect

All suspects involved in the incident were given a so-called paraffin glove test for gun powder residue and the weapon found on the vicitm was analyzed.

The District Court's Investigative Judge Saša Bošković said that police were in search of a vehicle whne they saw Albijanić in front of his home with a group of men, at which point he began to run.

Officers pursued him when one shot was heard, and Albijanić fell. An ambulance arrived 20 minutes later but Albijanić died when efforts to resuscitate him failed.
