Police search homes of Župljanin relatives

RS police said in a statement that the search was conducted at the Banja Luka homes of Jugoslav Bubić and his sister Željka Jandrić, close relatives of Stojan Zupljanin.

The homes were searched following a Bosnian Court order, since the two are suspected of helping Župljanin to hide from the authorities.

The aim was to find items and other evidence that could reveal the location where the war crimes suspect is hiding.  Computer equipment and documents were confiscated on the occasion, the statement said.

The indictment brought against Žubljanin in the Hague Tribunal charges Župljanin with war crimes committed against non-Serb civilians in the area known as Bosnian “Krajina”.
