“Lovas” indictees named

Daily Danas has released the names of 12 individuals suspected of committing war crimes in Croatia in 1991.

“Lovas” indictees named

The indictees are Ljuban Devetak, Milan Devičić, Milan Radojičić and Željko Krnjajić, who lived in Lovas and were leaders of the local territorial army.

Miodrag Dimitrijević, Darko Perić, Radovan Vlajković and Radisav Josipović, members of the motorized brigade of the Yugoslav National Army, were also indicted, Danas writes.

The remaining indictees, Petronije Stevanović, Aleksandar Nikolaidis, Dragan Bačić and Zoran Kosijer were members of the “Dušan Silni” paramilitary group.

The 12 indictees are in custody with an investigation underway into suspicions that they were involved in war crimes committed in Lovas during October and November 1991.
