Families claim recovered bodies

Representatives of the Serbian government's Missing Persons Commission handed over the bodies of Ljubomir Vrčelj (1960), Mladenka Vrčelj (1966), Radmila Bogićević (1931), Dušan Bogićević (1935) and Čizmelji Džemalj (1952) to their families.

The bodies were identified on the basis of the DNA analysis conducted at the laboratory of the International commission for missing persons in Tuzla.

According to the Missing Persons Commission’s  records, as many as 250 bodies have so far been exhumed in Kosovo, identified and subsequently handed over to their families, while the whereabouts of several hundred persons of Serb and non-Albanian nationalities are still unknown.
