Body recovered from Drina believed to be of Slovenian jumper

A body has been recovered from the Drina River believed to be that of <a href="http://www.b92.net/eng/news/region.php?yyyy=2016&mm=08&dd=08&nav_id=98842" class="text-link" target= "_blank">a Slovenian man who on Sunday disappeared</a> after jumping from a 20-meter high bridge.

Body recovered from Drina believed to be of Slovenian jumper

Bauc was taking part in a competition in Zvornik when he jumped and briefly surfaced, but then disappeared in the water.

Although two other competitors immediately came to his aid, the Slovenian was not found or almost five days.

According to eyewitnesses, "Bauc's arm surfaced at one point, giving hope to those present that the search would have a happy conclusion, but he then sank again."

Bauc's friends said he was an experienced jumper and a professional skydiver.
