Minister Igor Crnadak cited a statement made by Srebrenica Mayor Camil Durakovic, who said that "Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic" was not welcome there this year as the reason for the ban.

Durakovic made that statement on behalf of the event's organizers, while Crnadak believes that it stood "completely opposed to one of the main directions of the foreign policy of Bosnia-Herzegovina, and that is developing good neighborly relations."

Although it will not participate in the organization of the said event, the MFA of Bosnia-Herzegovina will, through the activities of its diplomatic protocol, assist ministers and other high officials during their stay in Bosnia-Herzegovina, in accordance with the law and international obligations, it was also announced on Monday.

Crnadak's statement recalls that all three peoples and two entities in Bosnia-Herzegovina, as well as all key political figures and parties, were "committed to strengthening relations in the region, especially to developing relations with immediate neighbors, Serbia and Croatia, as well as with Montenegro."
