Serbian FM meets with Albanian counterpart in Tirana

Dacic and Bushati stressed the need to sign agreements reached in principle in the fields of economic development, free movement of citizens and higher education, the Albanian Foreign Ministry said.

The Serbian and Albanian foreign ministers welcomed the steps the two countries had taken to meet the commitments undertaken in the framework of the Berlin Process.

During the meeting, the ministers talked about progress made in bilateral relations in the light of the latest developments and exchange of visits by the two countries' prime ministers, the statement said, according to Tanjug.

Earlier, the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that during the bilateral and trilateral meetings "all issues of mutual interest" would be considered.

During their stay in Tirana, the Serbian delegation should also meet with Albanian PM Edi Rama.

According to the agenda, the trilateral meeting will start with a working lunch. ATA agency is reporting they will discuss "concrete joint trilateral and bilateral projects in the fields of economy, infrastructure, tourism, culture, education, youth cooperation, and other regional projects."

The three foreign ministers will hold a joint press conference after their meeting.
