The Montenegrin government reached an out-of-court settlement with the victim's lawyers and on Monday adopted the Interior Ministry (MUP) proposal to pay the damages, Interior Minister Rasko Konjevic told Podgorica-based Pobjeda newspaper.

The country's prosecution is investigating the incident, while two members of the police unit who reportedly admitted to taking part in the assault have been detained.
