Djukanovic: Vote only consistent policy of Montenegro

Djukanovic told journalists in Becici that Montenegro recognized Kosovo's independence in 2008, adding that everything that happened in the meantime has vindicated the Montenegrin policy. "I think that the current situation justifies our policy, which represents recognition of reality," he stressed.

Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said earlier today that Serbia is disappointed, but not surprised by the position of Montenegro and Macedonia to vote in favor of the initiative for Kosovo to become a UNESCO member.
