Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic has said that the rights of Serbs in Montenegro must be "solved by the Constitution."

Nikolic talks about position of Serbs in Montenegro
"The rights of a people, which is an original and fundamental one in Montenegro, must be solved by the Constitution", Nikolic said in an interview for the Podgorica-based daily Dan.The Beta agency reported that the Serbian president yesterday in Budva participated a gathering of Southeast European countries, and then met with political representatives of Serbs in Montenegro.
Nikolic said that Serbia and Montenegro enjoy the "best friendly relations" and added that Serbia "will do nothing to coerce Montenegro."
He said that the issue of dual citizenship "no longer burdens relations between the two countries - because Serbia doesn't even know how many citizens it has who hold dual citizenship."
