PODGORICA The Higher Court in Podgorica has confirmed a verdict sentencing an attacker on Podgorica-based daily Vijesti journalist Olivera Lakic to nine months in jail. Ivan Buskovic beat Lakic on March 7, 2012. The journalist was attacked from behind in front of her apartment building. Court confirms sentence for attack on Montenegrin journalist Buskovic was arrested several days later. The initial verdict sentenced him to nine months in prison.
