Bosnia-Herzegovina “can join EU only as one country" “Only Bosnia-Herzegovina as one country will be able to join the EU,” the sources from Ashton’s office told Sarajevo-based daily Dnevni avaz, commenting on RS President Milorad Dodik and other RS officials’ statements that according to the daily “announce blocking of an agreement between Bosnian political leaders and are undermining the country’s EU pathway”. Brussels explained that the EU had proposed that Bosnia-Herzegovina establish an efficient mechanism of coordination regarding the EU integration issues due to the decentralized system but that Bosnia-Herzegovina could join the Union only as one country.
