RS president discharged from hospital

Republika Srpska (RS) President Milorad Dodik on Tuesday left the Banja Luka hospital where he was treated since Sunday. Dodik did not wish to make statements for the media today, beside the brief, "I'm fine, why wouldn't I be" - in response to one journalist asking how he felt. In a telephone statement for the RS public broadcaster, RTRS, Dodik said that he talked with his associates, and made sure that some of his tasks are being carried out as planned. On Monday evening, he stated that he felt well and expected to leave the Banja Luka Clinical Center on Tuesday.

In a telephone statement for the RS public broadcaster, RTRS, Dodik said that he talked with his associates, and made sure that some of his tasks are being carried out as planned.

The president added that in the next several days “he will get some rest.”

Dodik was admitted to hospital on Sunday afternoon, after he was diagnosed with exhaustion.
