Macedonia's conservative ruling party VMRO-DPMNE declared victory in Sunday's early parliamentary elections. This came after the electoral commission, taking into account votes from about 62 percent of polling stations, announced that the Internal Macedonian Revolutionary Organization- Democratic Party for Macedonian National Unity (VMRO-DPMNE) won almost 40 percent of the vote.
