Montenegrin Supreme State Prosecutor Ranka Carapic will order a financial investigation into the dealings drug-smuggling suspect Dusko Saric. The investigation will be conducted in order for the authorities to determine possible criminal act and seize his property. Brother of drug boss investigated An investigative judge of the Special Court in Bijelo Polje has remanded Darko Saric's younger brother, who is suspected of drug trafficking in Italy, in custody for 30 days. The prosecution explained that the suspect was a flight risk. Saric denied all drug trafficking accusations during questioning. After the questioning he was remanded in custody for 30 days for forming a criminal organization aimed at smuggling and distributing narcotics. Darko Saric's younger brother was questioned in the presence of his lawyers and the deputy special prosecutor. He was remanded in custody based on an accompanying document which had been sent together with the arrest warrant from Rome. After the questioning Saric's attorney Josif Mickovic expressed dissatisfaction over the investigative judge's decision because he did not see the documents based on which the decision was made. “Neither we, the lawyers, nor Mr. Saric are aware based on which evidence he was remanded in custody. During this proceeding we did not have an opportunity to confront the evidence and see what the special prosecutor is basing his motion on. Contrary to the law we were denied access to the documents and to copy the alleged evidence,“ Mickovic stressed. Higher Court in Podgorica Judge Radomir Ivanovic remanded yesterday Darko Saric's former bodyguards Vitomir Bajic and Srpko Klisura in extradition custody. An investigative judge of the Special Court in Bijelo Polje has remanded Darko Šarić's younger brother, who is suspected of drug trafficking in Italy, in custody for 30 days.

The prosecution explained that the suspect was a flight risk. Šarić denied all drug trafficking accusations during questioning.
