Croatian member of the Bosnia-Herzegovina Presidency Zeljko Komsic said that the country should have only one president in the future. He told a Sarajevo daily that constitutional changes are needed after the coming elections in October. "Constitutional changes needed in Bosnia" “I think that Bosnia-Herzegovina needs to have one president and I think that the deputies are not needed,” Komsic said. Bosnia currently has a structure in which the presidency has three officials, one representing each group of people in Bosnia, the Bosniaks, Croats and Serbs. He said that the main obstacle for a better tomorrow in Bosnia are the “hidden policies” of the parties that are participating in the government, especially the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) and Republic of Srpska Prime Minister Milorad Dodik. Komsic said that he hopes that SNSD would not win more than half of the votes in the October election in RS, because that party leads “pointless and anachronistic policies, which only lead the country further into conflict, and into a political and economic dead end.”
