Zeljko Boskovic, aka Vuk, 42, from the Bosnian town of Foca, was shot on Tuesday after committing armed robbery. He is suspected of stealing 50,000 convertible marks from a post office in the town of Brod na Drini. Cop killer wounded in shootout The East Sarajevo Public Security Center stated that the suspect had been spotted about two kilometers away from Foca after a police chase. He started firing at the police car, prompting officer to shoot back in self defense. They shot Boskovic once above the knee. His wounds are not life-threatening. The police statement further says that in April 2000, Boskovic killed police inspector Radenko Radovic and wounded another officer. He was at large since then and is a suspect in several robberies committed in Foca in 2006.

The East Sarajevo Public Security Center stated that the suspect had been spotted about two kilometers away from Foča after a police chase.

He started firing at the police car, prompting officer to shoot back in self defense. They shot Bošković once above the knee. His wounds are not life-threatening.

The police statement further says that in April 2000, Bošković killed police inspector Radenko Radović and wounded another officer.

He was at large since then and is a suspect in several robberies committed in Foča in 2006.
