Romania will endorse Serbia's steps with the International Court of Justice (ICJ), Romanian President Traian Basescu said. Basescu spoke today in Bucharest to the participants of the annual meeting of Romanian diplomats. Romania will support Serbia at ICJ ICJ should rule on the legality of the unilateral declaration of independence of Kosovo. Basescu stressed that he would like Romania to be Serbia's partner in the country's steps before top UN court, based in The Hague. He added that another major objective of Romania's foreign policy is to have stronger ties between the Balkan countries and the EU and NATO. Romania has a major interest for these countries to enter the area of security and the economic area of which Romania is a part, he said, quoted by Agerpres news agency.
