Croatian President Stjepan Mesic has reproached the government for failing to supply full details on the search for artillery logbooks to the Hague Tribunal. At a reception for the diplomatic corps in Croatia in Brioni, he explained that he would not be commenting on the UN Security Council session on cooperation with the Hague court, Radio Free Europe reports. Mesic slams govt. over Hague cooperation “If there’s already talk of whose hostage Croatia can and can’t be, then it is my profound belief that this country must not, above all, be a hostage to the lack of the government’s political will to do all that it is bound to do by the Law on Cooperation with the Hague Tribunal,” Mesic said. Croatian Deputy Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor dismissed the president’s accusations, stating that the government was fully implementing the provisions of that law. “Mesic can have the details any time.
