The drama continues; KFOR is sending new troops - they also mentioned Resolution 1244

KFOR has the capability & personnel to provide a safe and secure environment & freedom of movement for all communities under our UN mandate UNSCR 1244 of 1999, KFOR said on Twitter.

As it further points out, "since October we’ve been reinforcing our presence, including with additional troops & patrols in northern Kosovo this week. We expect all actors to closely coordinate with KFOR and refrain from provocative shows of force, to ensure the safety and security of all communities".

"We urge all sides to engage to enable security and freedom of movement in Kosovo. KFOR will continue to fulfill the UN mandate for all communities in Kosovo. Solutions should be sought through dialogue," it states at the end.
