Belgrade-Pristina dialogue to continue after tax abolition

After the meeting, Brnabic told the Tanjug agency that she thanked Palmer for the fact that the United States has unambiguously and directly condemned the introduction of tariffs on Serbian goods by Pristina and urged it to abolish them.

In many things, the United States reacted even more resolutely and stricter than Brussels and took certain measures against Pristina. We still have different views on what the future of the dialogue and relations between Belgrade and Pristina should look like, but it is always good that we discuss that subject, she said.

The prime minister said that she conveyed to Palmer the clear position of Serbia and that is that Pristina must abolish tariffs so that the dialogue with Belgrade could be continued and emphasised that for us that it a red line that we cannot cross.
