According to this, Fabrizi "conveyed readiness of the EU to provide expert and any other assistance to Serbia on both of these issues."

Ljajic and Fabrizi "emphasized that they agree that WTO membership would be an important step forward in the process of EU accession, as well as a strong message to foreign investors that Serbia is a stable and predictable investment destination."

Ljajic also "informed Fabrizi about the activities of Serbia and CEFTA countries on the removal of non-tariff barriers and the creation of a common economic space."

They "noted that the EU is the most important foreign trade partner of Serbia, that its share in the total export of Serbia is 67%, and that the export to import ratio has reached a historical maximum of over 80 percent," a statement published on the Serbian government's website said.
