Croatia "should pay more attention to Serb minority"

Vucic "thanked Markotic for cooperation and contribution to the development of bilateral relations between Serbia and Croatia," the Serbian president's press service said, Beta reported.

The interlocutors "expressed their expectation that, despite the issues that burden relations between the two countries, through joint work, a part of the obligations from the declaration on improvement of relations and resolving of outstanding issues, signed last year, will be fulfilled."

It was agreed "in this regard" to intensify the work of mixed commissions for resolving open issues in the coming period, the statement said.

At the meeting, it was noted that the forthcoming official visit of Vucic to Croatia, at the invitation of President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, will give an impetus to the development of relations and all forms of cooperation, especially economic.

Vucic, who received Markotić in a farewell visit, wished him a lot of success in his diplomatic career.
