Ivica Dacic sent a telegram of condolences to Spanish Foreign Minister Alfonso Dastis, in the wake of the terror attack in Barcelona that killed 13.

Dacic "deeply shaken and shocked" by Barcelona attack

"At a time when the whole world is united in the pain of lost lives, we must remain united in the fight against the evil of terrorism. We must not let that those who do not choose the means to achieve their goals endanger all the values on which today's civilization rests and the better the world we are seeking," the message said, and concluded:

"As always, Serbia will always stand in defense of these values and give its maximum contribution to the joint struggle to root out this monster. Please convey my sympathy to the families of the victims in their pain, and we wish the injured a quick recovery."
