"Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic did not have the freedom to choose whom to appoint as prime minister, instead, the West dictated the name to him, that had to be at the helm of the Serbian government. Ana Brnabic has spent her entire life working for foreign companies and foreign NGOs. She has no connection to our state, system, and identity," Obradovic told a news conference, Beta reported.

He added that Vucic, during his news conference on Thursday, "spoke for more than an hour - dedicating only 10 to 20 seconds of that to Ana Brnabic, while the remaining 69 minutes and 40 or 50 seconds, he continued performing the role of prime minister, talking about everything - except the topic of the news conference."

Obradovic also said that "no member of (Vucic's) SNS and SPS parties voted during the election for Brnabic to become prime minister," and recalled that "a part of the ruling coalition" was also against her nomination.

According to the Dveri leader, the SPS has "tricked their voters" by "promising that leader Ivica Dacic would be prime minister."

"Brnabic's selection represents a great humiliation for the SNS and all their members and voters," said Obradovic.
