Speaking on Monday, Vucic said:

"That decision is reached by consensus. Certainly those people enjoy a (good) reputation along a part of the world public, in our country it is negative, but it's different in the world. We will also have people who will assist us, their names are no smaller that those. I am talking about people known around the world."

However, Vucic would not reveal who they are.

"We'll continue investing in Army"

During the same interview on Monday, Aleksandar Vucic said that Serbia has done everything to preserve stability - "and has, for now, been successful in this."

According to him, Serbia "will continue to invest in its Army."

Vucic will on Tuesday attend the celebration of Serbian Army Day, Victory Day, and Europe Day, that will be held at the Nikinci military ranges.

An exercise, dubbed "Steel 2017" will also take place there, when the Serbian Army (VS) will show "all available powerful armaments, but also a lot of new things," Vucic said.

"People say that nothing is happening in the military, wheareas what is happening is that those terrible boots which we wore serving in the JNA (Yugoslav People's Army) in 1988-1989 are gone, instead everyone has two or three pairs, more uniforms, salaries, we are accepting new soldiers," he said.

According to Vucic, the Serbian Army "also managed to work on the ALAS missile (system)."

"People will be able to see that tomorrow, the so-called guided missiles that change their course dramatically and head toward a target, you will see during the firing, from ten to 12 kilometers - but we are preparing for the firing of 50 kilometers. Then you can imagine how much stronger and more powerful we are becoming," Vucic has been quoted as saying.
