A new poll carried out by the Research-Publishing Center Demostat shows Aleksandar Vucic can count on winning in the first round of the presidential elections.

Sasa Jankovic trails behind Vucic with 11 percent, while all other candidates - nine of them - can count on single-digits support - Vuk Jeremic and Vojislav Seselj with eight percent each, followed by Luka Maksimovic, aka Ljubisa Preletacevic Beli and Bosko Obradovic with three percent each.All other candidates have nine percent in aggregate.
Another graph presented on Friday shows the survey's results based on the total number of eligible voters, with the order on the list the same, but the numbers different: Vucic now has 34 percent, followed by Jankovic (6.6), Jeremic (5.4), Seselj (4.7), and Maksimovic (2).
44 percent of respondents said they would not vote on April 2.
Earlier, the same pollster carried out another survey, that found Serbians - when offered a choice of six political leaders - picked former lifelong Yugoslav president and communist leader Josip Broz Tito as "the best" - closely followed by Serbia's current PM and presidential candidate Aleksandar Vucic.
