"If we have majority, there'll be no elections" - PM
This was his response when reporters asked for his comment on the opposition DSS party's assessment that Serbia does not need a snap election.Speaking at the National Assembly in Belgrade, Vucic remarked that the opposition "knows it will win the election."
"They know they'll win, but they don't want to defeat us that quickly. There's just one little thing before that - they must receive the votes of citizens of Serbia," said he.
The prime minister previously on several occasions hinted that the country might hold another early parliamentary election along with the regular presidential vote next spring, while President Tomislav Nikolic said that it was "possible that will happen."
