Speaker: Serbia remains committed to full EU membership

Gojkovic "highlighted the significance of Serbia-Germany cooperation and, in particular, Germany's support for Serbia on the European integration path."

The integration process is primarily aimed at achieving the interests of the Serbian citizens, she said.

Among other matters, Gojkovic presented the parliament's activities in the process of European integration and strengthening regional cooperation.

Roth said Germany "will continue to support Serbia on the path towards EU membership, welcoming the commitment of the Serbian parliament and the government to reforms and their constructive approach to regional matters."

Earlier in the day, the German official met with Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic.
