Lavrov writes to congratulate Dacic on new term as FM

Chepurin handed to Dacic a congratulatory message from his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov following his reelection as Serbia's first deputy prime minister and foreign minister, the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

The strategic partnership between Russia and Serbia is developing consistently, which fully suits the interests of the two countries and nations, Lavrov noted in the message.

"I am convinced that expansion of bilateral cooperation in all fundamental directions and implementation of mutually beneficial projects is strengthening the foundations of Russian-Serbian relations, and I am counting on a continued exchange of views and coordination of activities on the international stage," Lavrov added.
