"High level of understanding, support" between China, Serbia

"High level of understanding, support" between China, Serbia

In a cordial conversation, they expressed satisfaction with a very successful visit to Serbia by Chinese President Xi Jinping from June 17 through 19, the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

Serbia is highly appreciative of its bilateral relations with China, which have now been raised to the level of comprehensive strategic partnership, Dacic noted.

It is with special expectations that we view the bilateral economic cooperation with China, Dacic said, expressing satisfaction with the large infrastructure projects in Serbia that involved Chinese companies.

Dacic and Li also pointed to the great possibilities for cooperation within a mechanism established by China and Central and Eastern European countries, as well as through various activities as part of China's global Belt and Road strategy, the statement said.
