"We had a good, serious conversation with the Bosniak Democratic Community of Sandzak, while Sulejman Ugljanin of the Party of Democratic Action of Sandzak made many objections to the actions of state authorities, but I voiced certain suspicions," Vucic told reporters, adding that he also "learned much from the Green Party."

He also said that the had an important meeting with the ethnic Albanian Party for Democratic Action and that their representatives will join the government coordination body for southern Serbia as a result.

"There is nothing more natural, normal or more reasonable than that," Vucic said.

Speaking about Bosniaks (Muslims) and ethnic Albanians, Vucic said that he requested that they respect Serbia, noting that good relations with ethnic Albanians and Bosniaks are very important.

Asked to comment on media speculation that several positions in the government have been offered to the Socialists (SPS), Vucic replied by saying that "everyone must know he cannot be haggled with like they do in a market place, any kind of pressure is impossible."

"I wanted to hear what programs they are offering, what ideas other political representatives have, to hear their objections, Hungarians are certainly with us in everything and at all levels - personnel solutions have not been discussed and I have not offered anything to anyone," Vucic concluded.

SVM wants to join

The Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians (SVM) wants to be a part of executive authorities in the same way as over the past two years, SVM leader Istvan Pasztor said Tuesday after consultations with Prime Minister-designate Aleksandar Vucic.

Vucic presented the fundaments of the future government's program, which are acceptable to the SVM, Pastor said, adding that the party presented to Vucic a draft coalition agreement it wants to sign with Vucic's Serb Progressive Party.

"We did not discuss the text of the agreement itself because there was no time. We will talk about that in the second round of consultations," Pasztor told reporters in the Serbian parliament building, adding that the meeting was amicable and one of substance.

Pasztor said that they did touch upon the government of the Vojvodina province, but added that he cannot elaborate on the matter because a decision on its composition is yet to be made.

Greater chances of joining

The Bosniak Democratic Community of Sandzak has much greater chances of becoming part of the parliamentary majority, and the ways in which it could participate in the government will be discussed in the days to come, the party's leader, Muamer Zukorlic, said after consultations with Prime Minister-designate Aleksandar Vucic.

"We are committed to being a part of the parliamentary majority if we reach an agreement on the political platform," Zukorlic said, adding that his party is interested in the posts of state secretaries, while he personally is not interested in any government position.

"We are not rigidly insistent on specific ministries but we prefer those through which we can contribute to the development of Sandzak and the citizens we turned to and were supported by," Zukorlic said.

He said that he was mostly in agreement with Vucic and that it is very important to continue discussions to help promote stability because, as he said, the relations between Serbs and Bosniaks are very significant for stability in the country and the region.
