Vucic announces "serious changes" in party and cabinet
"We do not have the same attitude toward our armchairs (political office). To him, the armchair is his life, and to me, Serbia is my life. In the real sense of the word," said Vucic. He then stated there had been "no need" for Dacic to be a part of the current government - "to be the (first) deputy prime minister, to be at the helm of foreign affairs, and in a year in which Serbia chaired the OSCE."
"An outstanding opportunity for promotion, wasn't it? They (SPS) got energy and mining as perhaps the most important ministry, the agriculture portfolio, and everywhere, along the depth, state secretaries and assistant ministers," said Vucic, adding that "Dacic is telling his associates to speak against Vucic, while he will later say he is against that."
According to Vucic, Dacic "then comes out with an even worse thesis - 'Vucic, I'm better for you than (Bojan) Pajtic and Ceda (Jovanovic)' - to in fact send a message to the Progressives that Vucic is the same as Pajtic, (Boris) Tadic, or Ceda."
"I am stupid, but not that stupid," remarked the SNS leader.
Vucic then added that he "thinks he had the cleanest campaign so far in the modern political life" - one that will therefore bring "great results."
