The Serbian Government's Office for Kosovo told Tanjug on Thursday that an agreement had been reached with Pristina to stop its unilateral blockade of trucks.

It added that the agreement was reached with EU mediation and would mean an end to "Pristina's violation of the CEFTA agreement."

Beta agency reported on Friday morning that the blockade had been lifted, and that trucks are crossing the administrative line at Merdare unimpeded.

In a bid to find a lasting solution to the problem, the two sides agreed that a special round of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue be held next week at expert level, Tanjug reported earlier.

The Kosovo authorities call the blockade, imposed at administrative crossings, a reciprocal measure, while Serbia has said that Pristina is violating the CEFTA agreement and that Belgrade is in constant contact with Brussels over the issue.
