However, Serbia will have to pay out EUR 736,100 in compensation under ECHR judgments in 2015, but the figure is considerably lower than in 2014 when Serbia had to pay out EUR 2.7 million.

The statistical data show that the Serbian authorities settled the damages on time in 51 cases in 2015, in three cases- after the deadline, and in 103 cases -payments are due to be confirmed.

It takes two years for the execution of a judgment in Serbia, which is below the average in the CoE member states (4.5 years), reads the report.
