Kosovo Office chief meets with Israeli official
According to a statement from the Kosovo office, they discussed "Kosovo, and bilateral relations between Serbia and Israel."Djuric thanked Israel for its principled support for Serbia in terms of respect for its territorial integrity and sovereignty, and for not recognizing Kosovo's unilaterally proclaimed independence, the statement said.
It added that he "briefed the Israeli MFA officials about the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, the political and security situation in the province and the importance of unblocking the process of setting up the Community of Serb Municipalities to the survival and prosperity of the Serb community in Kosovo and Metohija.
During the meeting, Djuric "stressed that Israel and Serbia are linked by unbreakable friendly bonds, shared suffering, shared past, but also their mutual desire for the two countries and the two people to be linked with a shared future."
The meeting was attended by Israeli Ambassador to Serbia Yossef Levy.
