"No early presidential elections in 2016" - daily

When it comes to early parliamentary elections that would be held along with local and provincial ones - this scenario, according to the same source, "is certain."

The newspaper writes that "after early parliamentary elections, the Constitution will be changed." This change "could" mean that the country's president will in the future be elected in parliament instead of directly in the polls, according to the article.

It further speculates that the most likely date for local, provincial, and early parliamentary elections is April. The daily noted that the talk of possible early presidential elections and the likely candidates intensified "due to the possibility that the coalition between the SPS and the SNS could be reexamined."

In this context, "the press speculated about the possibility that, if presidential elections are called, too, the SNS and SPS would come out with a joint list of candidates - under the condition that (SPS leader) Dacic supports the candidacy of (Tomislav) Nikolic."

"In case general elections are held on all levels the focus of the campaign would be on the presidential candidate, which, according to a part of the opposition scene, does not suit PM Vucic," writes Danas.

"It is interesting that almost simultaneously with this speculation, an opinion poll was published according to which Vucic's personal popularity exceeds the high rating of the SNS, that is, that even those voters who would not vote for his party find him acceptable," the article added.

"The cabinet of the Serbian prime minister said he does not know what Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic wants to talk about and reach an agreement on - that is, they claim that the leaders of the SNS and SPS have not yet met. It is also uncertain when this meeting will take place, because it has not yet been scheduled, even tough the prime minister said he would talk with Dacic this week," concluded the paper.
