No place for extremism and radicalism in Serbia - PM

Vucic responded in this way when asked about the threat of extremism in Serbia - in the wake of last night's arrest in Novi Pazar of a Swedish and a Macedonian citizen, who will soon be deported.

Vucic, who was in Novi Pazar to open a new medical facility, a school, and a kindergarten, also announced that Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu will visit Belgrade next week.

Asked "why chairman of the Bosnian Council of Ministers Denis Zvizdic was not in Novi Pazar for today's ceremony," Vucic said that his Bosnian colleague was busy with issues concerning Bosnia's budget.

Asked "whether Zvizdic will attend Davutoglu's visit to Belgrade," Vucic said that he would be "always pleased if that happens" but that this was not discussed with the Bosnian official.

"I'm always open to discussions with everyone and everyone is welcome in Serbia. We want to have good relations with Bosnia-Herzegovina, as we love the RS," he stressed.

Vucic said that Serbia is "open to cooperation and is even prepared to correct its own mistakes if it makes them - and they are certainly not malicious."

"As far as Zvizdic is concerned, the door is alway open for him to come to Serbia," Vucic concluded.

Vucic also said that his government would care equally about all citizens, making no distinction between Serbs and Bosniaks.

During his conversation with reporters, he also noted that Serbia was yet to decide whom to support in the race for the next UN secretary-general.
