Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic and U.S. Ambassador Michael Kirby assessed that bilateral relations between the two countries are on the rise.

PM and U.S. ambassador: Cooperation can improve in all areas

Vucic "presented Kirby with positive economic results of reforms and measures of the Serbian government, and expressed his appreciation for the support to their implementation."

According to the same source, Kirby explained that this is the reason for an increase of interest of U.S. companies to invest in Serbia.

He "repeated that Serbia is firm on the European path and that it is involved in the plan of the European Union for solving the migrant crisis, although it is not a member state."

According to Kirby, this is one of the ways for Serbia to contribute to stability in the region.

The officials also considered "other current regional and international issues."
