Nikolic to begin two-day visit to Slovenia

The meeting between Presidents Nikolic and Pahor is expected to focus on the situation in the region, with particular emphasis on the refugee crisis and the EU enlargement, the Slovenian news agency STA said.

On Thursday, the Serbian president will also attend the opening of the exhibition "The scientist who marked a century of communications 1915 - 2015" in the Historical Atrium of the Ljubljana City Hall, dedicated to Mihajlo Pupin.

On the second day of the visit, Nikolic will visit the town of Bled, where, together with Pahor and Bled Mayor Janez Fajfar, he will attend the ceremonial unveiling of a monument to Mihajlo Pupin, a Serbian scientist, author and diplomat.
