Nikolic: Chinese investments mean direct assistance
Extending a warm welcome to the CMEC president, Nikolic said that in crucial historical moments, Serbia had the support of China and Russia. We will not forget that and this is a proof that friendly ties are not only based on economic interests, but also on traditionally good cooperation, the president said.The CMEC president expressed gratitude for the reception organized by Nikolic, adding that the second phase of reconstruction of the thermal power plant Kostolac B will start immediately after signing the agreement.
Expressing readiness to invest in the food industry and employ workforce and companies from Serbia, Zhang said that as part of the project on food production in the Sumadija region, China will invest in manufacturing that is done in line with the most modern world standards.
He said that the Chinese party is also interested in investing in the gas power plant in Novi Sad and the thermal power plant Nikola Tesla.
