PM confers with Israeli ambassador

The project was presented by Ambassador Eytan Ben-Zur as a representative of the Canadian-Chinese investor interested in the realization of the project.

Ben-Zur said that upon completion of the first stage of construction works, room for hiring 2,000 people would open, while 3,000 more people would be employed upon completion of the project within three years' time.

Vucic said that foreign investors are welcome in Serbia on condition that they observe the country's law in their line of business, and added that the project would be important for progress of both Belgrade and Serbia in case the Canadian-Chinese investor, the Serbian government and the City of Belgrade "settled on common interest," Tanjug reported, and added that "Levy underscored that foreign investors recognize Serbia as an area where a favorable business environment is being set up and that an increasing number of companies are becoming interested in investing."

The government said on its website that the Israeli ambassador during the meeting "thanked Vucic for his great contribution to improving relations between Serbia and Israel."
