He also stated that the Serbian delegation and Airbus representatives discussed the development of the aircraft industry in Serbia, adding that trainer aircrafts could be manufactured in cooperation with this company.

Vucic stated that Serbia's annual trade with Bavaria amounts to EUR 734 million, and that the value of country's exports totals EUR 462 million.

"We export thanks to our workers, but also because of German know-how, as German companies in Serbia are also exporting their goods. This is why we have a trade surplus with Bavaria,” the prime minister underlined.

Great progress has been noted in Serbia over the past ten years, Head of Siemens Serbia Udo Eichlinger said.

Pointing out that Serbia is a good place for life and investments, Eichlinger noted that Siemens will hire another 220 workers in Subotica, northern Serbia, by the end of September.

Vucic began his working visit to Munich on Monday by attending the business forum and holding discussions with businesspeople from the German state of Bavaria.

The forum is organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia (PKS) and supported by the Munich Chamber of Commerce.

At the forum, Prime Minister Vucic and PKS President Marko Cadez will brief representatives of 30 Bavarian companies on the business climate and the advantages of doing business and investing in Serbia.

The representatives of the German companies will brief the guests on their activities and business plans.

The business forum will among others be attended by representatives of the automotive, metals and electrical industries and representatives of the Munich Chamber of Commerce, Upper Bavaria and the Bavarian Ministry of Economy.
