Serbia gets EUR 102.3 million from IPA funds

Minister without Portfolio responsible for EU integration Jadranka Joksimovic has signed two agreements between the government and the European Commission.

Serbia gets EUR 102.3 million from IPA funds

By the end of the year, the country is expected to get additional EUR 86.8 million from the funds envisaged as financial assistance to Serbia within the IPA program for 2014, reads the release.

One of the signed agreements backs with EUR 72 million the implementation of the special measure on ?ood recovery and ?ood risk management, and another - projects related to the public administration and education reform, with EUR 30.3 million in grants.

The agreement also stipulates the support for Serbia's EU integration process, and assistance for technical preparations for priority investment projects.

The agreements were previously signed by Director for Western Balkans at the Directorate-General for European Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Jean-Eric Paque.
