He noted that the situation in the Western Balkans was "becoming increasingly complex and pointed to the financial situation in Greece, terrorist activities in Macedonia and the instability in Bosnia-Herzegovina."

Vucic said that "unfortunately for Serbia, the situation is becoming increasingly complicated" and recalled the arrest of wartime commander of the Bosnian Muslim forces in Srebrenica Naser Oric and one of the commanders of the former KLA Ramush Haradinaj on warrants issued by Interpol Serbia for crimes committed against Serbs.

"The situation is becoming strange as such events have happened over a short period of time, immediately ahead of the continuation of the talks in Brussels on June 23 and the 20th anniversary of commemoration of the war in Srebrenica on July 11," Vucic said.

Vucic "expressed the belief that Serbia would manage to tackle accumulated problems because it is most important to ensure internal political stability and undivided support to Serbia's economic reforms," Tanjug reported from the news conference, during which the prime minister also announced he was ready to attend the commemoration in Srebrenica.
