Serbia has "two options" on Srebrenica resolution

One is join the request of RS President Milorad Dodik, who will ask Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov that his country vetoes the adoption of the British resolution

at the UN Security council.

The second, according to the article, "is to try to, in direct talks with London or through some member of the Security Council, amendment the text of the document, which in many parts is very unfavorable for Serbia."

These "difficult decisions" will be before Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic after he returns from Norway, writes the paper, and adds that "in the coming days Serbia will lead a fierce diplomatic offensive on the East River, but also in Belgrade, via ambassadors of key countries, to try to explain its position."

According to diplomatic sources quoted in the article, Britain can count on the support of the United States and France in order to adopt the resolution - planned to take place on July 7 - and also on "the strong voting machine among the ten non-permanent members of the Security Council."

Serbia, on the other hand, could receive Russia support in the form of a veto, while it is estimated that China will most likely abstain.

But, writes the daily, Russia's veto "by many estimates entails certain expectations of Moscow," and lists them as follows: "that Serbia does not join NATO, that it remain consistent in the decision not to impose sanctions, that it allows new Russian investments and, as chairman of the OSCE, assist the Kremlin in resolving the Ukrainian crisis."
