On the second day of the new round of technical talks on the normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina, Djuric said that they had primarily dealt with the issue of collection of insurance charges for motor vehicles on the administrative line with Kosovo and Metohija.

“The Serbs and Albanians in Kosovo have the right and the need to cross the administrative line in their vehicles without being charged extra insurance costs and we started talks today believing in good faith that it would soon be that way," he said.

The talks were constructive, but when they end, the Pristina side often uses the media to launch untrue and quarrelsome statements, Djuric said that, citing as an example yesterday's statement by Deputy Kosovo Prime Minister Edita Tahiri, who said that Kosovo would get an international phone number via Austria.

I think that the Albanian side often fails to take heed of our obligation and responsibility to our respective, Serbian and Albanian, publics, of making statements that can help the neighbors look at each other with more trust, said Djuric.
