During the meeting, the two high officials pointed to the good cooperation between Serbia and UNMIK.

Dacic underscored the key importance of UNMIK actions for Serbia since the UN framework based on UNSC Resolution 1244 constitutes a guarantee of the status neutral stand of the international troops in Kosovo and Metohija.

Having in mind the overall political and security situation in KiM and the continuation of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, the two officials underscored the importance of UNMIK deployment on all issues relevant to a consistent implementation of UNSC Resolution 1244, the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

Dacic and Zarif "agreed on the importance of unreduced UNMIK presence in Kosovo and Metohija as Serb and other non-Albanian population have great trust in the institution's work."
