"Cooperation with Germany improves Serbia's image"

Vucic "underlined that there can be no healthy economy without hard work and fair privatization," and "stressed that it is necessary to develop a market economy in order to have a faster economic recovery and improvement of the standard of living."

He reiterated that Serbia’s priority is to join the EU, and added that the government is trying to implement all reform measures in order to meet its obligations on the path towards the EU.

The two officials "discussed the progress of the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, as well as stability in the region, both political and economic."

Wilhelm "pointed out that intensive cooperation between the governments of Germany and Serbia in the last few years has contributed significantly to improving the image of Serbia in the EU."
